Best Vacation Value? Explore Cruising!

Skip the plane, not the fun!

Travel experts are urging savvy consumers to explore cruising before giving up their dreams of getting away for vacation.  Cruise lines are offering deep discounts on packages that include the state room, meals, and entertainment for approximately $100 per day.

With inflation at a 40-year high, and in the wake of climbing gas prices and airfare, Americans are searching for ways to save. In comparison to road trips, hotel stays, and flights which will cost more than last year, cruising offers the best vacation value.   Those living in the northeast have an additional advantage to save by planning a cruise from a “homeport” to avoid purchasing airfare. Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, and Norwegian Cruise Line offer departures from Cape Liberty, New Jersey and Boston, Massachusetts.

“Travelers here in the northeast find home port cruises extremely convenient and they appreciate saving money by not having to book flights.  Additionally, cruise packages offer tremendous value, including meals and entertainment for less than a weekly family grocery bill!” said Allison Villasenor, Managing Director of Travel Products and Innovation.
