About Me

Favorite destination? Southern Africa, Egypt, and Western Europe

Why is that your favorite destination? I lived in London for graduate school and explored France and Italy extensively.  After an incredible safari, I left my heart behind in Botswana’s Okavango Delta and Cape Town, South Africa.  Ask me about small group touring of Egypt and other destinations around the planet.

What destination is on your bucket list? GREECE, Ireland, Japan, India, South America, South Pacific, East Africa, West Africa

Why is that destination on your bucket list? A lifelong student of mythologies, histories, literatures, and cultures, my primary desire is to spend time in Greece and Turkiya to follow in the footsteps of Homeric heroes.  I’d like to visit Ireland with my husband to see his ancestral haunts.  I want to eat sushi all day everyday throughout Japan.  I want to paraglide over Rio de Janeiro and learn how to tango in Buenos Aires.  I want to see the rest of Africa’s wilderness and cultural capitals.  And I want to go down under to delight in Australia and New Zealand’s exotic natural beauty along with stops in Fiji and Tahiti for rest and relaxation.

What destinations have you visited? Canada, Mexico, UK, France, Italy, Monaco, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Aruba, Curacao, Egypt, South Africa, Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe

Why should someone book their vacation with you? I have advanced degrees in History and Literature so I can prepare you for the unique cultural encounters you are about to enjoy.

Are you fluent in a language other than English? If so, what other language(s) do you speak? A little French and less Arabic

One thing you’d like our members to know about you? I love to cook and my favorite cuisines are Italian and Japanese. Also, I am a strong promoter of sustainable and ethical travel.  Ask me how to make simple changes to make better, greener choices.
